What is your teaching philosophy?

It is my belief that every child, regardless of race, creed, color or economic background, can learn and be taught to apply the appropriate cultural mores and principles that would lead them to become future productive citizens who can engage effectively in the body politic within their own, as well as any other adopted societies.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

Help the student get organized and prepare for a course of study.

How can you help a student become an independent learner?

Help the student develop skills in organizing and preparing for independent study and assessments.

How would you help a student stay motivated?

Make the lessons fun and exciting.

If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?

Start with the basics; and, only move forward if the focus skilled is learned.
