I am a graduate of Boston University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Communication with a focus on Public Relations and Advertising. After graduation, I worked for a few years producing the advertising for Broadway shows, before switching to a higher education role as an Academic Advisor at Columbia University. In this role, I counsel and advise both prospective and current students who are part of our Master's Program in Sports Management.

While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I always had passion for both English and Mathematics. I understand my work through systems, and tutor students to create the systems that work best for their own personal growth. Students learn to master their own work, and can continue to grow independently outside of the tutor sessions.

In my spare time, I am a fan of Musical Theater - both as an audience member and occasional actor. I also run competitively and am currently training for the 2017 NYC Marathon.

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

Students need to see the tangible goals at the end of their work, and I always try to set realistic goals with students. It's not always possible to pull off everything you want, but in my mind, "2/3 ain't bad." You need to celebrate small successes to catapult yourself to the big success.
