I am a dental hygienist working in a public health clinic. My education aside from dental hygiene includes a bachelors degree in biology minor in chemistry, a masters degree in molecular biology and other graduate work in the health sciences. I have attended the University of Texas at El Paso and Boston University School of Medicine and Health Sciences for Graduate work.

My teaching experience includes dental hygiene students and others in the health sciences with problems in the biological sciences mainly.

I believe that a strong biology background is important in order to understand more complicated ideas in the health sciences and feel that my background gives me an advantage in understanding. This is an advantage that my students can benefits from.
