There have only been a few times that I didn't like math and statistics while I was in school. I have seen how liking math and/or being able to do math can impact someone's life for the better. After getting a Bachelor's degree in statistics with a minor in mathematics from Utah State University, I have learned that getting the correct answers isn't the only thing that matters, but rather the concepts and problems solving skills you learn; I hope to teach studying habits that create these skills.
While pursuing my Bachelor's degree, I worked as a teacher assistant. Through this job, I gained experience teaching lecture style to a class of about 30 students as well as experience one-on-one through the office hours I held for the students. I also love the outdoors. A perfect weekend would be spent hiking and camping. I also enjoy running and racquetball in my free time.
