What is your teaching philosophy?

I like to break things down into mentally manageable chunks that can be done inside your head to make problems easier and more fun.

Talk about where he or she feels most challenged and assess the best approach.

How can you help a student become an independent learner?

I like to teach students how to approach a problem in a very practical, logical way that they can internalize and use in the future.

How would you help a student stay motivated?

I have a great sense of humor and I like to make every effort to make learning fun!

Think of a different approach or take a break, if necessary.

How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?

Refer them to an appropriate resource that can help.
