I have tutored students in a wide variety of subjects including algebra, geometry, calculus, chemistry, physics, history, essay writing, and SAT test prep. I also taught middle school math for two years at a small classical charter school in Texas, and I am certified in Texas as a generalist in grades four to eight as well as for mathematics in grades eight to twelve.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2011 with a degree in History, and I am currently working through a Master's degree in Liberal Studies at Arizona State University. This variety of experience gives me a wide base from which to understand and assist students with a variety of learning styles.

I tailor my tutoring style to each student's individual strengths. This is why I strongly prefer individual tutoring to classroom teaching; it allows me work with students on a more personal level to help them reach their full potential.

What is your teaching philosophy?

I believe in working with each student as an individual to appeal to their unique style of learning. Each student has strengths and weaknesses that must be understood to help them reach their full potential.
