I am a licensed ESL teacher but I work as a High School Math teacher. I was born and raised in New York City. I attended Bronx High School of Science. I went to SUNY Plattsburgh for my undergraduate degree and studied Anthropology and Spanish. I completed my graduate degree at CUNY Hunter in Education.
I have a love for learning and teaching. I learned Spanish in college through experiences studying in Mexico and Costa Rica. Traveling, meeting new people, and learning different cultures are my passions.
Learning should be fun. I strive to ensure that students enjoy learning. I am an active person; I bike-ride, scuba dive, and work-out. Learning is a mental work-out: fun but also a challenge. It is crucial for students to make a connection with content. Thus, while teaching I am always relating content to tangible aspects in a student's life. I am excited to work with any student.
