I am a senior at Rutgers University. I will be receiving my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in aerospace in May 2015. In my spare time, I enjoy reading which enriches my life, tennis, running, and baseball. I have been tutoring students in various math and science courses ever since I was in high school. I have also worked with Tutor.com and gained experience in online tutoring. In my opinion, math and science are probably the two most crucial subjects for students to learn. Seeing some of my current classmates, who majored in non STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematic) majors, struggle with getting jobs and it has really shown how demanding science and math are in today's society. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. Learning doesn't end in 6th grade, 12th grade, college, etc. it's a never ending process. At the end of the day, knowledge is power.
