I first graduated from Pacific Union College with a BS in Physics and then from the University of Maryland with a BS in Astronomy. While I was studying for my physics degree I worked as a Teaching Assistant and tutor for the Math and Physics departments, working with students in math, physics, and astronomy. Now, I've been tutoring for Varsity for three years. I've found that the best way to study math and physics is to work through lots and lots of problems, especially word problems. In addition to helping students understand mathematical and physical concepts, I like to work on problem solving techniques that are easily translatable into any subject and field of interest. I love reading sci-fi/fantasy, puzzle and rpg gaming, and theatre.
