I received my B.S in Public Health with a Spanish minor from Saint Louis University in May 2013, and in May 2014 I completed Saint Louis University's accelerated program for my Master's of Public Health in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education. Throughout my life I have traveled throughout Europe, Africa, and Latin America, and this has inspired my passions for health, education, and social justice. I have been a tutor, volunteer and paid, for the past six years with various after-school programs reaching minority and underserved elementary, middle, and high school aged populations in the St. Louis area. I have also worked as an undergraduate tutor for college level Spanish. I have experience as an au pair and private English teacher for children in Spain. I have tutored children as young as three years old and as advanced as juniors in college. The areas I am most passionate about tutoring are Spanish, literature, writing, and math. I bring a positive attitude and a passion for learning and knowledge to my tutoring sessions, and I believe in working with students as individuals with unique strengths and learning patterns. In my spare time, I love horseback riding, traveling, reading in English and Spanish, studying languages, running and doing yoga, hiking, being outside, painting, crocheting, and anything involving animals.
