I'm currently a senior at New York University. I originally started college as a pre-medical student, but then switched to a Psychology major, with a Biology and Chemistry double minor after I decided Medical school just wasn't for me. My plan for he future is still undecided, however I'm leaning towards pursuing a higher degree in Genetics. I loved school when I was growing up, and science and math classes were my favorite subjects because they made the most sense to me, but I understand that they can become very challenging very fast.
My past tutoring experience involved mostly mathematics tutoring in subjects such as geometry and algebra, but I feel just as confident in my knowledge about the science courses to be equally helpful.
As a tutor, I like to get to the core of the problem that my students are having with their respective subjects. I am a firm believer in going back to the very basics and building a strong foundation to build upon as the material becomes more difficult.
I try to keep a light-hearted environment when I tutor mostly because of my personality, but also because I've realized that being in a very low stress environment is very conducive to learning.
Let me help you achieve the grades you want, and hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I do!
