I recently graduated from Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York, with a degree in Mathematics. I also have minors in Education and Music. After graduation, I moved right to DC to begin working on my Masters in Education at American University. I plan to teach secondary Math in DC beginning with the 2014 - 2015 school year. I have been tutoring all through High School and College in an extremely wide range of subjects in Math. From Algebra I to higher level college Math, I am always excited to help students learn to love the Math they are studying and gain confidence in their abilities. I would hope that, in addition to getting the right answer, my students would learn how to arrive at the answer and fully grasp the concept behind it.
I always have a lot of fun while tutoring and talking about Math, and I hope to inspire my students to enjoy themselves as well.
