My love for learning is the reason why I chose to become an educator. I remember having great teachers push me to improve, and I want to do the same for every student I encounter. I have a Masters in Elementary Education and over 7 years of experience.

I'm a graduate of the University of Florida College of Nursing. I have an MBA from Georgia State University. I've been an RN for over 20 years. I have 10 years of nursing administration experience and 5 years in nursing education. I have also been a nursing instructor at local college. I love helping future nurses and nurses achieve their greatest potential

I am law student at Georgia State University. I have a B.S. in Management with a Certificate in Marketing from Georgia Tech, where I was in the Co-op Program and the Honors Program. I sing and play the Flute. I grew up playing softball, and also played lacrosse and tennis. I am a huge football fan. I love to travel and have traveled extensively in Europe and Australia, as well as around the US.

Hey! My name is Christian. I just recently graduated from Georgia State University with my B.S. in Chemistry. I am currently attending Mercer University School of Pharmacy, working on my PharmD. I have been tutoring for almost two years now. Over those years, I specialized in both general and organic chemistry. I have found that it is beneficial to help others succeed in chemistry by taking the time to understand where the student is coming from on an academic level, and being to able to relate the topic to the student in the best possible way without over-complicating the material.

I am currently a student at Georgia State University; I will have my Bachelor's degree, with a major in English with a concentration in Literature, in May of 2014. In September 2014, I will begin my Masters of Arts in Teaching through the University of Southern California. I have had multiple experiences teaching at the informal level, and have most recently completed a Secondary Education internship. This internship allowed me to work with students in on-level Freshman English, and Senior AP Literature. I was also allowed to observe classes at the Sophomore and Junior levels.My favorite subject to teach is Writing. I have a passion for literature, and I greatly enjoy writing my analysis and conclusions down, manipulating the English language to reflect exactly what I mean.I believe in cognitive learning; that is, I believe students should always have the opportunity to voice what they have learned. That way, I can understand the way each student grasps concepts, and it allows me to see exactly where a student has trouble with a concept.Outside of academia, I work with an animal rescue and service dog training program. I take part in the rehabilitation process for dogs who need to learn how to live in a home, and I assist in training the service dogs. As the Director for Public Relations for the branch, I also oversee the public aspect of the organization.

I have always enjoyed mathematics because it allows for critical thinking skills and can allow for creativity. I am someone who can break down problems and concepts into more efficient steps. I focus on creating an environment where students want to ask me question and accept people even when they make mistakes is it is something every math student goes through. I have previous tutoring experience with helping younger college students on college algebra. My knowledge expands from basic linear equations to complex quadratic and nonlinear word problems. Some of my favorite ways of teaching is through visuals and guided sample word problems. My goal is for students to use their knowledge of mathematical concepts to apply to any problem. I am patient and organized with helping students grow. I also communicate with students efficiently so they can reach their goals. I am excited to contribute as a math tutor as people who have the correct support can allow any person to succeed.

In December 2014 I graduated with honors 2014 from Georgia State University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. Helping students and serving as a positive male role model is my primary goal. While I tutor a broad range of subjects and age groups, I am most passionate about English, Literature, Math, and Science. During my time at Georgia State I worked as a student intern for two and half years, teaching in elementary classrooms and ESOL classes. I have worked with students of all backgrounds and learning styles, and I believe it is important to connect and relate to students in order for content to appeal to them. In my spare time I like to swim, play volleyball, draw, write, read, play card games, video games, and collect comic books.

I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors of Science in Education in Exercise and Sports Science. For the last several years I have been working as a personal trainer, certified first through the American College of Sports Medicine and now through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am currently in my first year in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Georgia State University. At UGA I worked as a Lab Teaching Assistant for both Anatomy and Physiology and 2, and I picked up tutoring experience in chemistry, biology and exercise physiology. My favorite subject to tutor is anatomy and physiology because every time I teach someone else, I learn something new about the incredible human body that we live in every day. Some of my favorite hobbies include working out, reading, finding new parks and trails to explore with my dog and learning something new.

I am a graduate from Georgia State University where I received my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics. I have an outgoing personality and can explain hard problems in simple terms to will help my student retain the information easily. My hobbies include working on puzzles, playing Sudoku, and playing board games.

I graduated from Georgia State University with a B.S. Biological Science degree and a minor in chemistry. I have been studying Computer Programming ever since my family got our first computer in 1989. I hold a B.S. in Mathematics from Georgia State University, an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Rhode Island, and I'm currently working on my D.Sc. in Computer Science at Aspen University. My research area is Artificial Life: developing simulations to model co-evolution of ecosystems.I tutor Mathematics and Computer Programming at the High School, Collegiate, and Professional levels. I believe that education should be practical and useful, and I encourage students to apply their newfound knowledge into projects and work that they enjoy and prosper from.
