I'm a singer/songwriter, pianist, violist, and music theory enthusiast, and have been teaching and tutoring music for 8 years. I graduated from the New England Conservatory in Boston with a Bachelor's in Jazz Performance, and before that earned my Associate's Degree in Professional Music at the School for Music Vocations in Iowa, where I sang in a vocal jazz group and picked up 3 new instruments. I really enjoy writing and analyzing music, and working on ear training. I love teaching and helping others find the joy and inspiration of music that is enhanced even more by learning and understanding music theory.
