This year I completed my Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on TESOL, Online Teaching and Leadership Studies from Southern Utah University. Now that I am finished with my degree, I'm very excited to start my career in ESL instruction. Outside of my training in TESOL, my background in communication has prepared me with skills and strategies that foster a supportive learning environment.

I believe the best way to help students is by adapting materials and teaching methods to match their language goals. I strive to create engaging lessons for my students that meet them at their current level. From my own experience learning Portuguese, I know that learning a language can be difficult and frustrating, but also very intellectually fulfilling. Helping students master the English language brings me great joy and I love to see my students learn and grow.
