As a dedicated tutor with a strong passion for teaching math, I strive to make complex concepts accessible and engaging for my students. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah, I hold an Associate's degree from Salt Lake Community College. With experience teaching fellow students and coworkers in subjects such as Algebra, Trigonometry, and Calculus, I focus on building a solid foundation by encouraging students to tackle problems independently before guiding them through alternative methods of understanding. I believe that mastery of algebra and trigonometry is crucial, as these concepts underpin much of engineering. My goal is to foster a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore and excel in math. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy applying these principles in real-world engineering contexts, further enhancing my understanding and enthusiasm for the subject.
