As a passionate educator with a Master's in Environmental Science and Policy and over 20 years of instructional experience, I'm dedicated to fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning in every student. I have worked in a public-school setting with learners K-12, as well as adults. I specialize in elementary skills (math and reading comprehension) and upper-level Environmental Science, Earth Science, and adult learning. My teaching approach focuses on understanding each student's unique learning style and connecting academic concepts to real-world applications. As a former diplomat at the United Nations and the Department of State, I am an expert in public speaking, negotiations, and interviews.

I am also a mother of two students and a youth ice hockey coach, and I understand the learning journey from both educational and parental perspectives. I'm committed to supporting students with patience, encouragement, and personalized instruction that makes learning both effective and enjoyable.
