For the past 2 years I have passionately worked with numerous students in a wide range of math courses as well as math curriculums. Trained by a long time teacher/tutor of 15+ years, I specialize in a student first style of teaching that has allowed me to take struggling math students and transform them into top of their class scholars. I work primarily with students preparing for or starting their high school journeys (8th-10th grade) and specialize in subjects ranging from Algebra 1 all the way to pre-calc and even IB Math AA. I myself was an IB Math AA HL student and was the only one of 550+ students to complete that course. I am currently enrolled at the University of California, Santa Barbara for a Physics degree and have myself completed the IB Diploma at Millennium High School. I also have experience in highly competitive sports, specifically soccer, so I understand what it takes for a student to balance both taxing extracurriculars and even more taxing academics. I have and continue to provide advice to anyone struggling to perform that unique and rewarding balancing act both in and out of my work as a tutor.
