Hello,

My name is Catherine Hall; I have a degree in social science from University of Maryland University College, and I have been teaching and tutoring children for more than 5 years. I applied to work for varsity tutors because I enjoy working with children and helping them to progress towards their reading goals. I gained most of my teaching experience from working as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher in public school systems. For me it is always a joy to see the smiles on the children faces when they have mastered the ability to read a page or an entire book correctly! I prefer to work with elementary aged children; however, I have the educational skills to tutor children of all ages. I am very excited to be a contract tutor with varsity tutors, and I hope to see you soon.
