I hold a Master's degree in Education Language and Learning from the University of Illinois Chicago. With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I have a passion for teaching elementary school English and math, as well as middle school reading and writing. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a love for reading, using engaging materials that resonate with my students' interests. I believe that when students connect with a story, their curiosity and creativity flourish. I strive to create a supportive learning environment through interactive tools and fun assessments that help build confidence and deepen understanding. Outside of teaching, I enjoy collecting books and recently discovered a love for teaching chess, which has added an exciting strategic element to my lessons. I am dedicated to helping my students succeed and guiding them on their educational journeys.
