As a passionate educator with a Master's degree in Special Education from the University of West Georgia, I have a combined experience of over 5 years teaching in elementary and middle school settings. My expertise spans a range of subjects, including AP English Language and Composition, elementary math and reading, science, and social studies. In addition, I supported students as they learned to manage frustration, apply problem-solving strategies, learn independently, regulate emotions and feelings, implement conflict resolution skills, and utilize other life skills. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment that fosters academic growth and confidence in my students. My approach involves tailoring lessons to meet individual needs while nurturing a positive learning environment, ensuring that each student feels valued and engaged.
