As an educator for over 25 years, I have always found great personal satisfaction knowing I have helped someone. My teaching interests began when I started substitute teaching in between television production jobs while living in Los Angeles after graduate school ( I subbed everything from 1st grade through 8th). I eventually moved back to Florida and taught 3 years of English to high school juniors. Then I went next door to a local university and taught film, video editing and television classes. I stay in touch with many students; I am often thanked for showing them things that have contributed to their success. I believe teaching provides great value, since everyone - of every age - can always be learning. What I can share with students and how I feel I can help them gives me great joy.
