Helping students succeed is a passion of mine because I firmly believe that education sets you up for future success. Everyone deserves a helping hand at some point in life, and I find great fulfillment in being that support for others. Watching students gain confidence in their abilities and take steps toward their goals is incredibly rewarding.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Maine, and I now tutor subjects including English, Reading, Social Studies, and History, to name a few. My favorite subject to tutor is Reading because it is a personal passion of mine. I love the way reading opens doors to new worlds, perspectives, and ideas. I enjoy sharing that excitement with students and helping them develop strong reading skills that serve them well in school and beyond.

My teaching philosophy centers on meeting students where they are comfortable. Every student has a unique learning style, and I aim to identify and adapt to that. Whether through hands-on activities, discussions, or simplifying complex concepts, my goal is to make the material accessible and enjoyable. I believe that by creating a supportive and engaging environment, students can thrive.

Outside of academia, I enjoy readingoften finishing at least one book a week! I also love gardening, especially growing roses, and spending time outdoors with my dogs, particularly on beach walks. These hobbies provide me with balance and keep me energized for the work I do with students.
