I am currently a sophmore at Nova Southeastern University part of the 4+4 dual medical program. What motivates me to become a tutor is the opportunity to support students who may feel unsure or overwhelmed, just as I did in my freshman year when asking for help in large classes. I understand the value of one-on-one guidance, and I strive to help students overcome challenges and build confidence in their learning. Tutoring allows me to create personalized lessons that cater to each student's unique needs, which I find both fulfilling and engaging.

I have extensive experience working with students, beginning with my role at Intellichoice, a nonprofit dedicated to helping economically disadvantaged students. I tutored elementary and middle school students in math, adjusting my approach to maintain focus with younger kids while encouraging older students to step out of their comfort zones. This experience helped me hone my ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. Throughout high school, I continued tutoring my peers in math and science, focusing on making complex concepts more approachable and providing clear, consistent feedback. My tutoring style is adaptable, and aims for an interactive process where there's a 50/50 dynamic meaning the student actively participates by solving problems or explaining answers to me. This ensures they're genuinely comprehending the concepts.

As a current pre-med college student I'm used to taking many STEM classes including Bio 1/2 and Gen Chem 1/2. I've excelled in my science/math classes throughout high school to college and am confident I can effectively relay my knowledge to my students. I maintained a 3.88 GPA in high school and currently have a 4.0 in college. In the SAT, I scored a 1500+ with a 790 in math. For the ACT I scored a 34+ with a perfect score on reading and 35 on both math and grammar. I hope to help out middle-school to undergraduate students regarding a variety of STEM subjects as well as the SAT/ACT.
