My dad's job resulted in many moves while I was growing up. Thus I've lived in many states and have attended many different schools. I knew from first grade that I wanted to be a teacher. I was always interested in foreign languages because my mom & grandparents spoke German. When I got to high school I studied Spanish and loved it. I majored in Spanish and minored in German at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I also studied abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico. I later studied to become a school administrator and was a high school/ middle school principal. My grandkids live in Colorado and one of their specials in elementary school is learning Spanish. That really excites me and I love practicing with them.
