I am Dr.Rejeesh R, acquired my doctoral degree from IIT Kharagpur (QS Rank:222) and Masters degree from NITK Surathkalin the filed of metallurgical and materials engineering having a good expertise in physical and mechanical metalllurgy, different mechanical testing methods, strengthening mechanisms, characterisation techniques to understand different alloy features, different heat treatment methods to enhance mechanical properties. Detailed understanding mechanical behaviour of materials under different enviroments and how it affects any structure is always a concern. for example the extreme cold temperature in Atlantic ocean influenced the collapse of steel rivet structure in Titanic, at the same time the failure of Columbia space shuttle as well having metallurgical reasons behind the failure. Hence learning the material behaviour, alloying to improve its properties, assessing its mechanical properties, based on that choosing for required applications are always necessory for a developing economy. Students, the future of nation, would like have an idea regarding this field the sessions will be helpful.
