As a dedicated educator and licensed psychologist with a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston, I bring over five years of experience in teaching and tutoring in clinical psychology, including preparation for the EPPP. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering critical thinking and encouraging students to engage deeply with the material, as I believe that education is a transformative journey. I strive to create a supportive learning environment where each student feels valued and empowered to explore their potential. Outside of the classroom, my interests in cooking, travel, and literature, particularly works by Black authors, enrich my perspective and enhance my teaching approach, allowing me to connect with students on multiple levels. I am passionate about guiding students toward academic success and personal growth in their psychological studies.
