As my students enter my class, my goal is to introduce them to new perspectives. At the same time, I encourage my students to develop their own unique views to understand the world around them. As they exit my class, I feel I have succeeded if they use their voice effectively, show empathy to others and demonstrate the key concepts of our year's education plan.
