As a rising sophomore at Rutgers University, I am pursuing a double major in Economics and Computer Science. My passion for helping students stems from my own educational journey and the joy I find in guiding others to academic success. I have two years of experience as a Math and Reading Buddy tutor at my local library, where I worked with students from kindergarten through eighth grade. I specialize in tutoring math, from elementary levels to Algebra 1, Trigonometry, Calculus 1 / AB, and SAT Math. In addition, I am also open to tutoring students in AP Economics and AP Computer Science A. My favorite subject to tutor is Algebra 1 because I believe this subject is the foundation for all higher levels of mathematics and it is important for students to be confident in their algebraic problem-solving abilities. My teaching philosophy centers on understanding concepts through repetition and practice, ensuring that students not only learn the material but are also able to apply their knowledge and skills effectively. In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games and hanging out with friends. I look forward to tutoring younger students and helping them become more adept in math and improving their critical thinking skills.
