I received a master's in teaching from City University of Seattle with endorsements for grades K-8 Elementary Education, P-3 Early Childhood Education, and 4-12 Theatre Education. I also received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications from Pacific Lutheran University. I taught First Grade in Hawaii for a year then worked as a Substitute Teacher for several other years. I enjoy students and believe they should learn in a safe and nurturing environment at their own pace. English and Theatre and my favorite subjects as well as Literature and History. I enjoy learning myself and often enroll in adult and self- improvement classes.

I enjoy acting in my area both on stage and in film. I have performed in many stage productions in my area and working toward becoming a screenwriter, stage playwright, and woman film director. I'm a member of The Dramatist Guild of America, The International Thespian Society, Women in Film. and Women in Animation. I enjoy ice skating, walking and traveling. I've traveled throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and lived in Saudi Arabia through the Bechtel Corporation.
