Hi! I'm Kayla. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from James Madison University and am certified to teach PK6. I love making learning fun by weaving in students' interests and focusing on their unique strengths.

As a tutor, I'm patient, encouraging, and meet students right where they are. My goal is to create a safe, positive space where kids feel confident to grow, take on challenges, and know it's okay to make mistakes along the way.

I also believe in strong communication with families, so I'll always keep you updated on what we worked on and how each session went. I'd love the opportunity to work with your child and help them thrive!
