As a proud graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, my academic journey has been enriched with a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education (Mild/Mod) K-12, a Masters of Education in Special Education, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership.

My tenure of 10 years in the US Air Force Reserves significantly honed my leadership skills, providing me with invaluable experience in leading teams and navigating diverse challenges.

Throughout my career, I have always been passionate about tutoring students across various academic domains. However, it is in the realm of reading where I find the greatest fulfillment. I have dedicated myself to teaching reading to both children and adults, recognizing the profound impact literacy has on individual growth and empowerment.

Beyond academia, I am an avid reader, finding solace and inspiration in the pages of diverse literature. Traveling also holds a special place in my heart, offering me opportunities for exploration and cultural immersion. As a lifelong learner, I approach each day with curiosity and a thirst for knowledge, embracing new experiences and insights along the way.
