I am a junior attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham majoring in Cancer Biology and getting my master's in Public Health. I am very passionate about tutoring as I love to be a part of students' learning curves. Seeing students improve throughout many lessons, allows me to see the small impact I can have on their education. In addition, the students I teach have an impact on me as they teach me new perspectives and concepts as well. I have had several tutoring experiences in the past that have allowed me to develop my teaching skills and the ability to interact with students from different backgrounds. My past experiences include being an SAT Writing Assistant, high school biology tutor, and elementary and middle school math and science tutor. I would love to continue teaching different students through Varsity, particularly middle and elementary school subjects. I cannot wait to not only uplift students educationally but also form a meaningful relationship with them.
