I started tutoring because I enjoy being of service to others. I want to be there to support anyone who is prepared to swallow their pride because I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help. Since middle school, I have been a tutor to students. I worked in an elementary school's after-school program, where I assisted disadvantaged kids with their schoolwork. The excitement on the children's faces when they finally comprehend the problem they were having is priceless. Since math and English are my strongest subjects, I tutor elementarythroughhigh school children in those subjects. I use a passive-aggressive teaching approach. I will not be too harsh, but I will encourage kids to reach their full potential. I will be patient with the student. I got a 22 on my ACT and my GPA is a 3.5
