I have always had a passion for helping other students. In high school, I was a part of an organization called Infinity that donated tablets with downloaded educational videos on them to underserved parts of India. I would then be in constant contact with the students based on worksheets assigned to them and address any clarifications they may have had. During my undergraduate year, I worked as a tutor in subjects such as college algebra, CHEM1010, Biology, and college physics. I also volunteered for an organization called Collegiate Honors Preparatory Program (CHPP) where members would travel to local high schools within the greater Saint Louis area and offer ACT tutoring to schools that did not have adequate preparatory resources. Finally, in medical school, I volunteered as both a peer tutor and an anatomy intern. My peer tutor role consisted of leading monthly review sessions within a classroom setting for upcoming exams. My anatomy intern position allowed me to become thoroughly involved with anatomic prosections while also assisting anatomy faculty during dissection labs.

I graduated from Saint Louis University in 2016 with Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Neuroscience. I am currently a third-year medical student and am striving to apply for a general surgery residency.

I have especially enjoyed science subjects such as biology, physics, and chemistry and have thoroughly involved myself in teaching those subjects.

I always strive to meet students where they are when tutoring them while also imparting knowledge and skills that I currently have that have helped in my test-taking. My friends always tell me that I come up with the best analogies and that I can explain things in a very simplistic manner. I believe that what defines someone as proficient and perhaps an expert in a particular subject is their ability to explain concepts in the most simple terms so that even a novel individual being introduced to the topics can understand them with ease.

Outside of academia, I love to weight-lift, go on nature walks, dance, and read. I love to read fiction and non-fictional books, as well as self-help/growth books like Atomic Habits. However, my favorite genre has to be conspiracy/science fiction books such as Dan Brown's The DaVinci Code.
