In general, I enjoy digging into just about any scholarly topic, and this is the main reason for the breadth of the topics I can tutor to students. However, mathematics, history, and the social sciences are especially dear to my heart. I love mathematics for its own sake, and keep myself busy practicing my existing knowledge and advancing into new topics of interest. I'm currently digging into graduate-level material in algebra, differential topology, and computational complexity theory. I also adore history and the social sciences and read them for my own edification. At this moment, I'm digging through histories of Assyria and upland Southeast Asia. Knowledge is a precious and wonderful thing and it's a joy to have the chance to share it with students.
