Nechia Yvonne Coleman is a National Board Certified Teacher from the State of Mississippi. I have been a teacher for twenty-five years. I have taught kindergarten through fourth grade. I am a proud member of the Humphreys County High School Class of 1982. I attended the dynamic Mississippi Valley State University, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree in Education. I received my Education Specialist in School Leadership and Supervision from the blazing Belhaven University, both located in Mississippi.


With a strong background in education and a passion for molding young minds. I have instructed so many young people who have gone on to benefit our society in big waysdoctors, lawyers, politicians and educators. This truly makes me feel accomplished with my career choice and my performance as well.

I remain up to date with the latest trends and advancements. I am a member of Mississippi Association of Educators and receive newsletters from Mississippi Department of Education and NEA Today to ensure I am delivering quality and exceptional experiences, to every students.

I serve at team leader for my grade level, As team leader, I have to ensure that as a team we had to have effective communication and collaborative work environment. I ensured that the teachers concerns were voice and communicated effectively.
