I am an educator with a heart for service. My background includes 8 years of Special Education experience, and 15 years of mental health experience. In the classroom and in my community I serve the overlooked, underserviced and emotionally/behaviorally challenged youth and young adults whose inabilities are likely to affect their academics in a negative way. I take pride in building lifelong relationships through compassionate engagement, exhibiting fairness, firmness and consistency while implementing my holistic approaches. I am skilled in modifying instruction, relating lessons to real world experiences and strategically challenging individuals to make connections in their learning. All of the aforementioned sets me and my skills apart and I plan on taking your unique learning and particular skills to your next levels.
