Undergraduate Degree: Drake University - Bachelor in Arts, Sociology

Outside the classroom, I love books and movies and am particularly interested in engaging with as many different styles from each medium as possible. I particularly enjoy horror and silent movies along with contemporary TV dramas and comedies, with my favorite directors being Charlie Chaplin, John Carpenter, and David Fincher. Additionally, I make a hobby every year of trying to see the worst movies to come out in theaters alongside the best, and love scouring the films of the past to try and find the worst of the worst. Reading has always been a passion of mine and, in my free time, I still devote energy to trying to enrich my life through literature. My favorite authors include Toni Morrison, Don DeLillo, and Eudora Welty. Additionally, I am an avid sports fan, rooting mostly for Chicago teams and particularly favoring the Chicago White Sox. In my free time, I try committing myself to activities that are both relaxing and mentally rewarding while also sharing in the interests and passions of others.
