Here are some fun facts about me!

Fun fact number uno: I have an identical twin sister.

Fact number dos: I am also a licensed financial advisor with New York Life Insurance Company LLC.

Fact number tres: I am also a substitute teacher part-time for the Essex County School District.

My educational journey goes as follows:

I graduated from Essex County College and Montclair State University with A degree in Early Childhood Education and another in Human Development with a minor in Psychology.

While obtaining my college education, I was able to complete my student teaching hours at my childhood elementary school, Saint Joseph School. Then complete two full years of 2nd grade reading approach at Peshine Avenue school in Newark NJ.

During, my years of educating myself, I then became a first time mom to a beautiful baby girl, named Kayleigh. This is where my passion for teaching grew even more. During, Kayleigh's earlier years, I was able to observe the life of a child's development entirely and begin to educate her to be a well rounded student.

Combined with all of these experiences, it allowed me to interact with and support children with various learning abilities in their lessons and activities. While teaching me new behavior management strategies.

As an enthusiastic "substitute" teacher, I'm dedicated to enabling growing young minds to achieve their Reading/Writing goals. I am confident that my experience and "common core" teaching style can make me an asset to your community/family.

When asked for my motto, one must live by, "education must not be taught as one size fits all." In fact, it should be tailored daily to support the needs of the student.
