I am a graduate of the University of The West of England, Bristol, UK. I recieved my Batchelor of Science in Primary Education and Geography. Upon graduation I had a successful career in private education, teaching the age range 5-11. I moved from classroom teacher to headteacher during my career. I took early retirement 4 years ago.
I am as passionate now as I ever was about education, and with over 25 years education experience I can bring all my skills, knowledge and understanding to online tutoring.
Mt specialism is mathematics, however I have a strength in all aspects of the primary curriculum. I can tutor mathematics to GCSE level.
I believe in building strong relationships with my pupils, and making learning fun and memorable.
I always start tutoring agreeing learning outcomes. I then map out how we can work together to achieve those outcomes in a fun and engaging way.
