I believe every student can learn not always the same way, but they can learn. I will try to adjust my teaching style to fit the student(s) as needed.
I do require my students to show their work, especially when working with word problems. This is the only way I can see your thinking and show you where you are making mistakes so that you can correct them. I also don't believe in stupid questions, if you don't understand it doesn't matter whose fault it is. So I expect my students to ask questions.
