I'm an animator with over nine years of experience animating for Pop-Tarts, SpaghettiOs, Walmart, and many more. I've also had the opportunity to meet people who have animated for Disney, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Sciences, Web Development from ECPI University.

Since that time, I continue to animate professionally and help students to understand the principles of animation. It's imperative to help students understand how to breathe life into animated characters because it can help them learn how to problem solve and find solutions. I feel it also opens their minds to many other creative and innovative careers.
I have a hands-on approach to helping students. While teaching the principles of animation and how to use them, I will have students animate or draw along with me. After we've practiced, I like to see what they come up with, and I critique their work and show them ways to improve.

Students will also learn how to keyframe scenes, frame-by-frame animation, solid drawing, concept art, storyboarding, and lighting and shading. These steps are important not only with animation but in illustration, drawing, design, and other art forms.

My experience teaching has led students to four-year universities at Ringling College of Art and Design and The Savannah College of Art and Design.

In conclusion, I enjoy helping people look at the world around them with new eyes, not taking for granted the small and big things in life. They're so many unique and interesting things to explore both physically and in your imagination. You just need someone to help you see it.
