I am a graduate of Brigham Young University Hawaii and received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Certificate of Special Education and my Master's of Art in Special Education with a focus on autism from the Universit of Texas Permian Basin. Since graduation, I have taught in upper elementary classes and early childhood special education classrooms in elementary schools. While I have prepared a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about working with children with different learning needs. In my experience, helping struggling students learn new content and grow confidence is the most rewarding part of teaching. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it is essential for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with my family in my spare time.
