I am a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary education and Special Education. Since graduation, I have taught in several school districts and alterative schools in my area. I have a passion to help students who are struggling to succeed in their academics. I lived in Japan for several years and taught Japanese students English to improve their ability to speak and write in the English language. I am most passionate about English, Math, Health, Language, and History. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests and their academic studies is essential for the students. Being strong in their academic studies is absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life. I try to show students how what they are learning can be applied in their own lives so the student can generalize what their are learning and apply it to their lives. In my spare time, I enjoy reading mysteries, doing yardwork, spending time with my family and dogs, and exploring the world around me.
