I am a former teacher for the NYCDOE and senior tutor for the Sylvan Learning Center. I believe learning should be fun. Students should understand that there is no shame in making mistakes. When we make mistakes, that is how we learn. Even teachers make mistakes. I have a great sense of humor, so I enjoy a little levity while we study, A sense of humor takes away the tension of learning, and also it makes a "boring" subject fun. Students should be encouraged to excel as high as they desire and I will be there to help them do it.

I am a writer. I am in the process of writing a book. I like digital photography; taking photographs in my neighborhood. I enjoy aerobic exercise and strength training. I am a collector of classic films (the 40's, the '50s, and the 60's) I love pets. I like dogs and cats. The animals that I like are deer, kangaroos, dolphins, and tigers. I like some rap music, but not all. I like music from my generation, mostly rock music. My favorite animation shows are The Simpsons, American Dad, and King of the Hill.
