I am a Ph.D. Candidate (WesternU) & Clinical Research Fellow in Urology (The Ottawa Hospital). Currently, I am researching "3D Cell Culture Models for Clinical Studies" and The genitourinary microbiome in recurrent urinary tract infection: Deciphering The Relationship Between Host and Microbes.

Since high school, I have always been passionate about teaching and helping friends thrive on exam scores. I was also a Let's Talk Science volunteer, visiting high schoolers and demonstrating 'Science' in classrooms in the Ottawa area. I also got a Master's Degree in Immunology from Siriraj Hospital School of Medicine, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. I received my B.Sc. Biology (Genetics) from Chiang Mai University (CMU), Thailand. During my Bachelor's, I worked on the invention of cryopreservative solutions used in human stem cells. After my Bachelor's degree graduation, I've got a job as a research assistant at The Department of Microbiology, CMU, working on a DNA vaccine for tuberculosis.

While in college, I was constantly busy with classes, labs and tutors. My friends would ask me to explain the concept of complicated theories, methods and clinical applications. I always use metaphors in daily life or something evident daily to describe the sophisticated topics in science, especially in Biology, Genetics, Microbiology and Immunology. Thus, these subjects are my solid suits for teaching and tutoring.

"Why the Prof. didn't explain like you you did?" most friends said.

Outside the school, I am a home chef, a baker, a wrestler, a cyclist, a photographer, a traveller, and a plant collector. I cook a lot of fusion Asian cuisines, French, Italian, but my specialty is Thai. I am also a self-educator in keto diets and diabetes, reversing pre-diabetes with 'low carb and slow-carb dietary.'

... I am also a cat's dad (and a future to be a dog dad).
