Samantha has mastered her skills with hands-on experience, followed by a solid conventional education. Her training to be a chef started in her childhood kitchen, where she made everything from scratch. As she grew older, she began to travel. In each country, she found an expert in the local cuisine to teach her the local cooking techniques and introduce her to the regional foods and spices. As she travelled, she found that food and herbs were the key to health & deepened her education by studying, as an apprentice, with classical Chinese, Indian, and Western natural doctors. Throughout her travel in Asia, she studied meditation, chanting, and other spiritual practices that reduce stress, heal and uplift the practitioner. Returning to North America, Samantha completed her studies with a Science degree in Herbal Science, nutritional medicine, and culinary arts. Now she shares her experience and knowledge in her published articles and books, and tutoring. In her writing, she uses her advanced studies in writing composition and English literature from her high school international bachelorette education. Along the way, Samantha has developed the curriculum for a preschool ESL in general subject education, taught elementary and middle school, as well as private adult ESL in Taiwan. She has also tutored university-level mathematics and inorganic chemistry in America. She has also earned an internationally recognized tutoring certificate. She loves people and loves to teach even more! Samantha is now tutoring full-time English, ESL, writing, reading and comprehension, as well as mathematics from ages two to adults. She teaches meditation.
