I consider myself a life-long learner. I often joke that I could be a professional student if funding was not an issue. I am very passionate about education and helping others along their educational journey.
I hold both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Criminal Justice. During my graduate studies I was also a teaching assistant. I taught classes and discussion groups and assisted students with understanding both theoretical and practical concepts related to criminology and sociology.
During my professional career I have also trained and supervised many colleagues, interns and volunteers in the field of criminal justice and victim advocacy.
I can tutor in many subjects but especially those related to criminology including criminal justice, criminal law, victimology, and sociology.
Undergraduate Degree: Indiana University-Purdue University-Indianapolis - Bachelor of Science, Criminal Justice
Graduate Degree: University of Illinois at Chicago - Master of Arts, Criminal Justice
I have many interests. I love to read, swim, paint and listen to music. I also recently took up pottery making which is very therapeutic.
