I am a seasoned educator with experience developing science curricula and teaching since 2006. Having cultivated a spectrum of students (from primary learners to adults), I now bring my educational experiences to flight instruction.
I am a graduate from the pro pilot flight training program at CCBC and hold commercial, instrument, and CFII certifications. As a FAA Certified Flight Instructor (and check instructor for a part 141 flight school), I train new and experienced aviators how to fly in a variety of make and model fixed wing aircraft. I teach advanced aerodynamics, performance, weight & balance, systems, navigation, airspace, weather theory, human factors, instrument procedures. and aviation regulations while helping students earn their private, commercial, and instrument rating certificates.
Undergraduate Degree: University of Pittsburgh-Pittsburgh Campus - Bachelor of Science, Natural Sciences
When I am not flying, or tutoring, you will find me raising my two early learners. My children are proof that everyone is capable of learning something new and it is a remarkable process.
